Up Yours Math 138!!

I NEED TO VENT!!!
holy ! I just got back from my math midterm and I think I'm suffering from mild shock! Ya'll wont believe how hard I studied for this test and I absolutely BOMBED it:BangHead: !!! I can understand the fact that I suck at math, but this is the 2ND TIME I'M TAKING THE CLASS!! I practically memorized the book and have pounded every quiz that I've ever taken into my head, so when I walked into the math building this morning with upmost confidence that this exam was going to be a breeze I had no clue as to what I was in for. I didnt know how to do ANYTHING! I actually started laughing in the middle of the hour because I felt so pathetic and lost! OMG, WHAT WILL THE GRAD SCHOOLS THINK IF I CANT PASS SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS COLLEGE ALGEBRA???!!!!! I'm going to be an EMT-B forever, AHHHHH!!!!!

Reading, Memorization and Comprehension are completely different.

Good Luck!

thanks moody....yeah, i really dont understand my professor's teaching style. she's a math theorist, so she teaches the theory of algebra instead of the formula's (which I SHOULD be good at because I'm a bio major) but her tests always throw me a curve-ball. i really hope my GPA doesnt die again because of this class:eh: .

math teachers are a weird bunch. my college algebra teacher answered any question with statements like "yes, that is a true statement" but i respect anyone who can love something as abstract as numbers.

Math is the language of the universe.

Sorry your teacher sucks. Drop it before it affects your GPA.
