I suppose you can always tell somebody to lighten up and to take a joke.

It's funny as long as you are NOT on the receiving end...

But what do I know? Y'all go right ahead.

Glad he is doing alright after the accident.

Some have pretty wifes and some have ugly wifes, if you are not the one that has to share a bed with her at night, i say just leave it alone. It was funny at first because i thought bluewave put his foot in his mouth but then it was more funny when he said he called it like it is....... All i am gonna say is that we all had a good laugh at the expense of the OP but ultimately beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Scooter may not be totaled. I kinda hope it is just because of the extent of the damage but won't know till insurance sees it.
Glad your good. ATGATT FTMFW!

If they don't total take to Motorcycles Unlimited and let Patrick have a look.... Unless you want a project I'd go for total. My neighbor bought a lightly wrecked GoldWing a couple years ago, I think it was a '10 model. Less then 1000 miles on it. Guy drove it into a ditch and into a barbed wire fence. It didn't look half as bad as yours and they totaled it. My neighbor figured out why after he put it back together..... He claims he enjoys the challenge.... people like stepping on their dicks too but it doesn't me I would.....

Not really interested in a project bike - especially not one this new. It's my primary form of transportation too so it kinda needs to be in perfect condition.

Its going to British USA today, so we'll see what happens when the adjusters look at it later in the week.

I agree.

I am a classless, idiot, SOB, but I draw the line about wives/GF/family.

It's more than just wives/GFs. Pretty or not, in time, we'll all be reduced to wrinkled up leather of our former selves, anyway.

None of us are above being made fun of, but there is a time and a place for good ol' boy rib jabbing and sharp sticking in the eye. The OP just got his brand new $20k pride and joy bashed into a pile, ferchrissake.

Yall obviously haven't been around to see honorsdaddy in action with the talking, and not taking it easy on people regardless of the persons circumstance. He is not about all the talking in here, yet you guys are?

Oh yes, I do know. In fact, it is rather ironic that on one go-around, he actually talked about my wife in, uh, very unflattering ways. I didn't take it personal, but there was another guy that thought honorsdaddy was talking about his wife and got all bent out of shape.

So, yes, I do know and I do remember. But I don't hold grudges, I don't keep scores, and I don't get even. Well, okay, that last part I take back, I do get even if necessary... I rarely find it necessary, and I never conduct it in ways that reduces me down to the same level, or worse. If you do it artfully enough, you'll even be praised for it.

That.. is the Gentlemen's Way.

I like how YOU decide what the standards are that you are judged by. You fail in your rating system right off the bat!
