I'm 25 and have known him since the 6th grade. He was one of my best friends and I don't have many of em. RIP Mark. I'll keep your family and friends in my prayers, see you on the other side brother.

the messaging is very chaotic in the thread, I understand with this type of scenario how that could be, there are still too many questions to be asked and answered though, and if this is true and that young man has past away then I'd like to extend my sincerest condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

Where was the scene of the crash, I'll go scowler the area by foot tomorrow, I don't have class. I'll take a million pictures and see If I can find the go pro.

But honestly, if someone did rob him the go pro was probably taken to.

This hit home for me I didn't even know mark but as a fellow rider it hurts my heart.

If there is anything anyone needs, even just someone to talk to and have a open ear for, I'm here.

Rest in peace mark.

Man it sucks, I was with him this morning before we started to head out with our respective groups. He was my first friend when I moved here back in 04 and has been my neighbor and one of my best buddies for that long too. Rest peacefully and see you up there when my number's up.

Daaang. I sense foul play since NONE of us saw anything.
Rider is in my thoughts. =(
I truly hope the gopro is recovered so his passing doesnt go unsolved. This is tragic.

Guys! Thats why yall should always come and leave with a buddy!!!

Friend and I both got pulled over. We were no way in riding over speed limit, heck, even under speed limit since there were cops everywhere. I saw your cops lights at a distance.. when you were PARKED and PULLED over, not when you were "traveling" at a "rate of speed"... we slowed the heck down miles ago...being so very cautious.

They were truly messing with motorcyclists. We didnt do a darn thing wrong. UGH!

BS.
Written warnings but im grateful for that. I was still mad he pulled me over to begin with, what the heck.

RIP :(

Wouldn't be the first time I've heard of wallet/phone going missing after taking a tumble. It would be fellow riders looking around for an hour waiting on authorities that would find it in most cases. Same with GoPro... plenty go missing after accidents.

It would be nice to see footage from someone behind Schmidie... to see when the last time they saw the lost rider was... maybe to see the gap. It really seems like it happened before the 2nd Gas station stop (at I10).

If a friend can find out the exact location of the accident... take some fellow MH members out to look around the area.

Best to wait for a definitive answer instead of assuming.
