Okay I got a reply, they want to know if I am interested in "Flag" or "Track"? Does anyone that is working know what "Track" would consist of?

They get the closest action. They have a few people on scooters. They take a crashed rider to their paddock. Also get a free ticket for someone to go. They will also raffle some free stuff.

there will be folks that have flags working in towers too, as well as track side...
they have folks whose responsibility will be to get crashed bikes off the track or run off area, and folks whose responsibility it will be to assist downed riders who are uninjured to safe areas where motorcycle taxi riders can take them to their pit..
most of that info was in the early emails they sent out... but actual assignments have not been listed... there is to be an email sent out next week with more information as to times and schedules, but not sure if you are going to find out exactlly what your assignment is before the training meeting at 3 pm on thursday.

Got a call this weekend about my position and kindly declined in support of Kevin. First the rental fiasco, then the way they treat Kevin, looks like CotA needs a better PR rep. or just to pull their collective heads out.

I just wonder, since KS himself is going to be there, why other folks are not going to be there in support of him. For me it is about Moto GP being there. COTA are just the folks who manage the facility MOTO GP is using. COTA does not really matter to me one way or the other. The thing between COTA and KS is about money, and the law suit should settle that one way or the other. It is all about their business dealings that will not affect you or i, or our riding one way or the other.

^THIS^

COTA did screw Kevin over, but a failed event screws the entire motorcycling community over.......
