if the blinkers are there....it has to work....so if they don't work...take em all off. either have working blinkers...or no blinkers at all.

motorcycle inspection is a simple safety inspection. it's very hard to fail one.

If you don't pass this type of inspection, you don't need to be riding it either for your own safety.

if it's mounted anywhere else but next to the license plate at the rear of the bike, don't whine when the cops pull you over just for that.

Never had one, never will. It is a useless piece of vinyl. They do not inspect on a bike. They just want your money.

Someone post the law that says it must be near the license plate. Automobile inspection stickers are nowhere near the license plate.

Do a search. It has been posted a dozen times already. The law states it should be near the license plate and visible.

"Near" is the problem here.

The swingarm is near the rear license plate.

All of these are required.
Horn
Mirror
Brakes
Tail Lamp
Stop Lamp
License Plate Lamp
Rear Red Reflector (1)
Head Lamp (1)

I seem to recall that you must have side reflectors on the rear of the bike. Not 100% sure though.

It does specifically say it has to be mounted near the license plate on the back of the bike but nothing about how "visible" it must be...

Here's a pic of my inspection sticker on a mounting plate flipped over so its on the backside of my license plate, if I get stopped I'll just say "I didn't know, I'll flip it when I get home"

note red reflector is the GSXR...

There are a lot of harleys up here at work, many of them you can't see the inspection sticker if you were driving behind the bike, the are on a mounting plate parallel with the ground which you can see if you walk up behind the bike.
