where do you have your inspection sticker mounted

Does your inspection sticker have to be displayed and visible from the back of your bike. Per what I read in Texas Motorcycle law it just say it has to be mounted near the license plate on the back of the bike and you have to "produce" it if asked by a peace officer.

Where do you have yours?

on the swingarm, been harassed once for it, but I'm legit every other which way so it don't matter. If I get pulled over any other time, I was probably breaking some other law in some other way...i.e. speeding.

I have a fender elimnator on my GSXR. it hangs the plate under the stock fender plate. its way back there behind the wheel, but it has passed inspection.
The new license plate mount does not have a piece for putting the inspection sticker on though, and i didnt want to stick it to my bike.
So, me and the mechanice doing the inspection cut a plastic tab big enough for the sticker and used one of the plates moutning bolts to mount it to the side of the plate.
theres not really enough room for it to be completely displayed so it lives behind the plate with about 1 inch of a corner poking out.
if a cop gives me beef, ill just say vibration made it slip behind and then swing it out.

just my .02

^^thats a good one too.
When i got mine done i was on my way to court for a no inspection ticket that i had to prove i fixed, otherwise i would have gone and tried to fab something better myself.
but it works.
i just asked the shop if i could have one of the dealer license plate frames and went to work on it with a pair of shears.

just thinking about flipping mine around so the mounting plate is inside my license plate....sticker would be in plain sight if you look at the back of the plate....

this is how I have it now <see pic>

(yes I know two of the leds are out on my plate light, I have a new one on there now)

I've got a reflector, it just wasn't there in the pic. I took some red reflective tape and attached it to a piece of thin abs plastic and then glued it in behind the GSXR on my fender eliminator. It not only is functional but looks badass too. I'll take a pic of it later and post it up.

^^that does suck.

the shop i go to here in CS is kinda weird. There is one parts dude who is super cool and tries to tell the others to take care of me when i come in.
He came out and did all of the inspection short of riding(leg in cast). He walked around the bike once and was happy with what he saw. Didnt even touch it.
Lucked out that day.
