Yep, I believe the engine used in the Ventos is a Lifan 250, which is just a copy of the old Yamaha Virago 250cc v-twin. Looks are deceiving in this case.

Wow, with only 70 miles that didn't make it through a lot of weekends for the guys parents. I'd make a claim against the manaufacturer if it lost its ignition module that young. Oh wait, Chinese bike, I forgot how that works...
