Suspension work?

So, yeah, I'm kinda a (about two fiddy ) and from everything I have read, it seems I need to have the suspension upgraded on my DZR. I was wondering if any of you have had any suspension work done in the Houston area, and if so who you used or recommend?

Jim Cambora Raceworx FTW!

Man's work holds most the track records and been in the game a long time. He is kind of a far drive from Houston however, getting your stuff shipped down to him would not be a problem.

There are several shops that do really good suspension work.
Some of those are sponsors here.
One shop to stay away from is the shop in clear lake that specializes in dirt bikes.

Why do you say that? I've never dealt with them but was going to have them rebuild my Husqvarna.

The biggest weakness on the bike will be the rear spring...call up Race Tech and buy the right spring for your weight. Its pretty easy to change out...

We did it to Jakeg's DRZ and it was squatting a whole lot less when his big got on it. at 180# my couldnt even get it to move

What did u pay OTD for the 2013?

Go see P1 or Motorcycles Unlimited.

All good people and good at what they do. Call them both, talk and see who you prefer. You can't go wrong with either.

OTD was about $8,500 due to Louisiana's 9.25% taxes. My credit is not the greatest either.

Yes it is, yes it is. It was the only way I could get financed. No personal loans due to bankruptcy. When you mess up your credit, you pay for it. My ex-wife should be punched in the throat for the mess she caused.
