Thinking about opening up a bike resort somewhere between Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Somewhere for ppl to ride to for events, drinks, and possibly stay. What's yall's thoughts? Any suggestions?

Sounds cool. Wish there was one between Houston and Dallas too, those DFW SuMo guys looks like they would be a trip to hang with

Awesome idea. A buddy of mine from another forum and I kicked around this idea. The big challenge is during the weekdays, limited to no customers. We thought about only opening Thursday through Sunday. Something to consider as you explore the idea.

id do thursday - monday...some people stay for the last day...or atleast staff for ppl checking out.

Id say itd have to be near a ton of good roads and near a rally. So probably Hill Country be your best bet.

I would like to have it by the twisted sister but I feel it's a bit out of the way for my fellow Houston residents. I want it to be a reasonable and enjoyable ride for all Houston San Antonio and possibly Austin riders. But if I make it a resort where you can also stay the night I would hope riders wouldn't mind staying the weekend.

Yea I've thought about that too. We possibly would try to stay open all week. But during the week be more of just a bar. Weekends from thur- mon mostly for events.

Brenham. Half way between Houston and Austin, with good backroads to San An. State park close by for camping, hills and twisties aplenty. Cheap land and taxes as well. Not to mention already a major ride route.

Brenham has cheap land? It's a pretty high dollar area these days. At least it was last time I looked.

Compared to opening a similar concept in Houston it does.
