Hit a bird this morning

I was going for a quicky.Breacking in a new rear tire and this bird flew into my right intake. What a mess broke the poor bird in half.I had blood and guts all over the inside of the intake. What a mess.

A busy and I were cruising down 2004 at a pretty good pace and one caught him in the hand. It broke his finger, we hand to cut off his glove because of the swelling. They were only leather gloves not the ones with knuckle shields.

I did the same thing on the way to work once and I took a dove in each knee. I got to work and some coworkers were like ! Blood and guts all over my pants. I had to wear my nomex until the local stores opened so I could buy some new pants lol. Those doves were all on the road and just refused to move until it was too late lol.

My friend Oskar hit a buzzard in his chest on a naked SV650. It had a spread bigger than he could stretch his arms.

Things like these is what baffles me why a rider would ride unprotected.

I missed a large red tail hawk in AR by about 6 inches.. had to be at least 3 ft across...
Buzzards and squirrels are constantly trying to commit suicide.. one of these days I'll fail to avoid... hope not!
