Let's ride the Ozarks

It's been a few years and I've got the itch. I'm thinking a couple of days either side of a weekend in April.

Let me know if you can/want to do this ride.

Thanks
Rene

Looks like we have a ride!!

Is it easier to use a base location and hit different rides each day, or is it best to move around based on the day's route?

I can't make the last weekend of April, but could make the first weekend of May. From what I've read it looks like Eureka Springs is a good base location.

I'm for the cabins that way we still have the ability of cooking outside in the evenings and have a drink around the fire. May is not out of the question lets see how things go. I've posted on TWT and the R1150r sites and you guys are the only one chiming in so far.

I'm cool with the cabins as well and like the idea of hanging out around a fire at night. Been a while since I've done this. My saddlebags for my bike just came in, so I'll be riding up there. Do you ride or trailer your bike?

Some do a combo. I prefer to ride but its nice if someone trailers in case of an "accident". If I go, ill be riding more north lol

I'll ride, probably run east to the west side of Toledo Bend up 87, wiggle around through Louisianan to Magnolia, AR. Easy 400 mile day ride. If I were going to Utah, Colorado or New Mexico I'd use my trailer through the Texas badland, I have a problem with long straight roads, I get sleepy and may off my bike out of boredom not to mention ruining back tires.

Do you by any chance have a Google map of this route? It would be cool to see it.
