Do it. Well worth it. Either hit up Motorcycles Unlimited or go to a TD and find the suspension guy there.

If you ride your CBR the way it was designed to be ridden, then yea, get the suspension set up for your weight. Wear the gear you normally have on for the type of riding you want the suspension set up for. My weekend riding gear weighs 40 lbs.

Motorcycles Unlimited

It's only like $20 or $30 too, a good investment. When I had them do mine, they told me I was sagging in the rear like an inch or two I think. It performed/handled much better afterwards.

Just call Patrick before you head up there. If they're busy, he'll probably give you a "good" time to show up so you don't have to sit around twiddling thumbs.

House of paint will do it for cheaper/free. Just tell them you're off Motohouston. Tony will hook you up. and just like everyone said yes its more than worth it, i noticed a huge difference after my suspension was set up.

I always forget that Tony will tweak a suspension.

You should go to racetech.com first and make sure your spring rates are close for your weight. fyi

is there a true suspention person here like race tech rep. that you can have have them any work "refresh fluid install spring, change valving, etc. or do the local shop just do it all?

Local shops can do the work (and do it well) if in fact your forks need to be revalved/resprung.

So to answer your question, yes.
I was in a meeting when I post my first comment "hiding my phone trying to type quickly"

and it wasnt in no way ment as an insult on any local shop/store by any means, just was trying to ask is who's is or are the suspension guro's "the people or group that are known for suspension on the forum or the area"

I am new to the Houston motorcycle community and I don't know what local shops, stores, etc. specialize in.

In back home we had a rece tech rep. that would be at most trackdays and most CCS race events.

the words " is there a true suspension person" was poorly written on my part and I apologize for it
