Thumbs up

(Dallas)Steve Upchurch at Motion in Dallas is good. He has built alot of motors and maps. I have never heard of anyone having a problem with his work.

(Dallas)I had Jim Sabin build me a map over 10 years ago and I know his stuff is fast.

(Austin)AF1 those guys are fast too.

(San Antonio) James Compton and all the dudes above are good.

(Houston?)I always wonder where to go in Houston. Anyone have a # to call? The closer to MSRHouston the better for me. That East Side Honda sounds like a nice place.

Thanks Gabe

Andy over at Metric really does a good job-713-334-8030.He just reworked the map on my racebike which had a custom map already in it-he did such a great job, that I can actually run a gear higher in some corners due to improved midrange.I've heard good things about mr upchruch too.

[QUOTE=vfracer-r]Don't take it anywhere else but Andy at Metric Cycles. Bar-none, best dyno-tuner in the City (after some "experiences" at other shops I say...).
Yes but comes at a pretty steep price 400-500. these bikes are blackholes.......keep dumping money into them.

I had patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited map my power commander for me. He doesnt have a dyno but it was convenient for me that my bike has all the same mods as Brandon's old race bike which was also a 636. He showed me the dynographs from before and after the map and i was impressed. He loaded the exact same map onto my bike and it rips!

Id like to dyno it though just to see what it would pull out of it! :icon_bigg

Eastside Honda. They charged me 180 to tune my bike took them all day and he even stayed till 9:30 to finish it for me. Dyno is awsome and 1 of I believe only 2 of its kind. Only one here in the U.S.

I havent gotten on the dyno but i just looked on his website for basic run is 50 and for the works tuning it listed 400-500 on there http://www.metricmotorcycles.com/FAQ.asp#cost
i guess that was just a price range he put up there...i think down the line i will have some tuning done but for now...........must learn to handle the beast.
