Sorry driving and thread posting is a bad idea, what I'm asking is

I painted my bike with a flat black krylon spray paint.

If I slap a go pro on it will I be riskin losing it? (I.e. would the cheap paint rip off and take my gopro with it?

sad if it does. Did you prep the surface properly. Try it and tie a safety line to the cam just in case

If you did no sanding or any kind of prep work I wouldn't risk it.

Did you prep the surface before you painted it? high grit sanding and acetone to clean any residue off? If not, probably lose it.

Although, doing some bridge painting with the GP mounted on the can sounds pretty cool..

u need to mount it securely dont rely on anything less than suction cups i would go for bolts/nuts and brackets to be 100% sure its not going anywhere.

I haven't had the mount fail on me yet. And i had it on my tail fairing. And that is looser than newriders .

DIDN'T realize that my comment was a lecture....a lecture would have been "hey dumbass, you're a rider and probably appreciate folks who pay attention to the road....why don't you try being one of them?"

I was just commenting on the stupidity of starting threads which have an importance rating of zero while driving. I know, you couldn't wait for your answer.

An even better time to distract yourself. i see these everyday but, based on his thread title and original post I'd believe he was multi tasking and doing a poor job of it at that.

It's always..."just sayin'" until your GF or kid gets plowed by someone doing the same(or even a fender bender). Just sayin'.

Sorry for being a .
