Cool Plasti dip

Bout to plasti dip the bike does anyone know any bads about this if any one does plz let me know before I start lol thanks

Peels really easy. I did my tail piece to see how it held up and it scratched the first time I threw my leg over it and accidently bumped the tail piece.

Especially in the inner thigh area close to your crotch. I recommend 5 extra layers around there lmao.


Look at my signature picture, it was plasti dipped. I recently took it off and it was an ez job to do

Not that it matters since it sounds like you are moving forward, but I used plastidip on the rear triangle of my full suspension mountain bike. I was chrome but I wasn't ready to commit to flat black. The stuff is hard to use on complex projects. I found that if you overspray and get a drop, it is really hard to clean up, there is no sand and touch up.

Good luck, you'll need it.

Maybe we should just get together and learn to vinyl wrap. I want to do my bike and I think matte vinyl might be longer lasting.

Yeah It has been pretty easy so far until it got dark i over sprayed and tried to cut it after it dried
