If the speedo ever reads 186 it will kick on the rev limiter even if the bike really isn't going 186 unless you change the ECU or disable it somehow. Anyone with a GSXR feel free to gear it really low and test it out.

Chris had it right. It would be more in the neighborhood of 160-165 true speed. Maybe as high at 170 in the right conditions. If they had a GPS it would be more accurate.

The video rocks though!

It's actually more exciting watching these guys ripping around ol' beat up TWS (Texas World Speedway) than it is watching the pro's ride those pretty manicured FIM spec tracks.
