Barry, NADA average retail is $12k.
Your bike is in really clean condition and with some good mods so somewhere between $11-12k is a fair asking price.
$9k / 25% less than average retail for a bike as clean as yours is way too low.

Keep in mind that currently anything much more than $5k used will take a bit longer because the buyer will probably have to finance it vs buy it outright.
Glws.

Yes, I do.

Says obo, so if it's clean and with no title issues the guy is either not very smart or in a bind.
If that's the case someone will wind up buying that bike for $8k and flip it quick for $2-3k more.
Some people are so anxious to sell they jump on the first offer made.

There's always someone selling whatever you may be trying to sell for fire sale prices, especially right now with the economy still a little slow.
However just because jimmyjoebob had to sell his for cheap because he's in a bind or doesn't know the value of what he's got doesn't mean you have to.

Hey Barry, text me and I will tell you what I sold my 2010 Rossi R1 for to give you a better idea of how much you can realistically get for it.

If you trade the bike in you only have to pay sales tax on the price difference, instead of on the entire purchase price of a new bike.

FYI, my '09 CBR1000RR has been sitting at Stubbs since January because, so far, all of the potential customers can't get financed.

I saw your bike there. It even has a Managers Special sign hanging over it.

Bmw is gone, I will not get another one, the R1 has more IMHO.. comparing these bikes (bmw-R1) is like going to the famous argument about abs or non abs
To each its own, we all dont fit the same helmet brand nor the least sizes..

Which isn't bad, considering that NADA is $10,500, so about 7% less than NADA average retail.

With dealers pushing leftover 10's and some 11's out the door for 10k, I'd price your bike around 9800-10200 to account for any upgrades that people will be putting on a new one anyway.
