Gas/bike tires/entry fees etc. assuming you had a sleeper/trailer already.

Just paid 4.15 for 93.

also having the proper gear or not can make about about 2k difference. tires alone probably run you about a few thousand and other maintenance. idk how much exactly the entry fee's are because I wanna say at least a 900-1200 a weekend assuming you have proper gear

It cost me right around $900 for me to run TWS (Texas World Speedway) last year but that was 3 days with a hotel and LSTD Friday

How much would 1 year of cmra racing really cost?

$220 for 4 sprint entries per race
$360 for a set of tires
$22 a gallon for race fuel
$50 to rent a transponder $460 to buy
Miscellaneous other costs like gate fees and what not
Other costs fluctuate, travel expenses, fuel, food, etc.

If you want to cut down on the costs, don't try and race EVERY race weekend, find someone to travel/stay with, and bring your own food.

Really depends on how fast you are and how fast you want to go.

Assuming you have:
CMRA-legal bike (safety wired and appropriate case guards, if required)
Associated gear (PPE, warmers, stands, generator, etc)

Initial, one time fee:
Licensing school: $75
If you get your licensing school done in February, you do not have to pay for the track day itself. Otherwise, you can either pay for the track day or corner work and use the credit for the track day
Transponder: $250 used, $460 new

Yearly fees:
Competition License: $145
2 bottles of brake fluid (2 changes): $60
1 bottle of water wetter + distilled water (2 changes): $30
1 set of brake pads: $140

Every round:
4 entries: $220 if you pre-enter
~ $50 in gas for bike/generator (regular pump gas)

Other expenses:
Depending on your speed, you can get 2 weekends out of a n-tec rear, 4 weekends out of the front (using a med+) for a moderately fast guy. The fast experts are changing tires every other RACE (not race weekend)
I know the total was $550 last year for the set, I think tire prices went up this year though. I don't know the break down between the front and rear, so I'm guessing on the math...

Say $325 for the rear, so $160/weekend
$275 for the front, $70/weekend

Amsoil is about $60/change, I change it every 3 weekends, so $20/weekend

By my calculations, going with a used transponder, $5,900 for the year. Not including Friday race practice ($140ish/Friday), food, and expenses getting to and from the track. Of course, this also includes you keeping the bike in one piece. Doesn't include a back up set of rain tires either.

I might be missing something, but that's all I can think of.
