Cresson 3/5/07 review

Had a great time once again instructing at the LSTD school. Nice new track (to me) had an awesome time learning it early in the morning. the elevations are awesome. You guys def. need to get up there and try it at least one time. I rode the CRF450R and it was such a blast i didnt' want to get back onto the 636. it was good practice for our upcoming TMGP mini motard season.

Congrats to Moody and, Bigcomfy for passing the CMRA lic. school, along with all the others who came out to take the test. Thanks to stlal for doing the cornerwork for us all day, without these guys it would be hard to do these trackdays.

It was a bit of a long drive for Moody and I but it was well worth it.

Cresson is an amazing track once it comes in. I love the blind elevation change corners. I should be riding on some tuned suspenssion by the time we make the next trip up there. It sure would be nice if I could win some of those goodies they were giving away. I really can not believe how much stuff Lonestar is giving away for free this year.

speaking of free stuff, Repsol gave away 4 prize bags with all sorts of goodies, oil, tshirts, posters, a small replica model bike, and who knows what else, pirelli will be giving away a FREE SET OF TIRES on every Monday trackday, Hart photography also stepped in and donated a couple of free pro pics and also a nice poster size pic of you on the track. Awesome deals here folks.. Plus, you get to ride with ME :icon_bigg

Motorcycles-Unlimited gave away some EBC pads as well. I sure missed their presence out there though.

Comfy and I missed you out there. The CMRA class was a breeze and it would of been fun to have another track head in there with us.

Lone Star Track Days has the backing of some pretty awesome organizations who've stepped up in support of LSTD for 2007...

Pirelli Tires, Repsol Lubricants, The Racers Supply Co., LeoVince Exhaust Systems, Motorcycles Unlimited (woot woot! :notworthy ), Morse Racing Products, EBC Brakes, Northwest Honda-Ducati, Lockhart-Phillips, CycleCynch and Suzuka Tire Warmers

Monday's Winners Were:

Kevin S. - Pirelli Diablo Corsa III Tires
James W. - EBC Brake Pads
Leroy B. - Poster sized photo of himself on the track (courtesy of Hart's Photography)
Noah S. - CycleCynch
Kerry A., Chad R., Daniel S. & one other guy who took off too quick - all won the Repsol Prize Package Giveaway
Pat H. - Nicky Haden Minature Model Repsol Replica/Champioship Poster

Well over a thousand dollars in giveaways this past trackday... Props again to all the companies/organizations standing in support of LSTD this year. :notworthy

Next LSTD event is April 13th @ TWS (Texas World Speedway)....

true for the cmra schedule...

however it does not rule out the possibility of a lstd "big track" track day...

be sure to check the LSTD site when registration opens up... it should list which configuration they'll be running...
