Depends on the bike; some have too much vibration in the fairings, sometimes the tank mount gets in the way of tucking..

I like to move it around but it pretty much stays on the front of the fairing on the 12R and the tank on the TLR.

I tend to look around too much with cameras on my helmet, plus the GoPro is blocky enough that it catches some wind at triple digits and wears my neck out.

I like the helmet view. You can see more of what is going on. If you are going to edit a video then multiple views spliced together are great.

Thank you both for the reply. I like the idea of multiple mounts on the bike, that's probably what I'll do.

Backwards from tail is good to mix in.... Horrible for an entire movie. Helmet is good, but annoying at times, and annoying to watch if you look around a lot. I have a mount on the chin of my helmet, much better for avoiding wind.

Tank. I can see my speed clearly on the gauge cluster and see my reflection in it too

On speedo, or on rod. These were some sample shots I took while on a trip a while back.

Just finished running through the settings, impressed with the iPhone app.
Based on the suggestions I scored a few additional mounts to provide additional PoV. Looking forward to the SMR on Sunday.

If you have a mirrored shield gopro mounted off the front of the helmet facing the shield is a cool mix it up shot, but again would suck for a whole movie.
