Odd line on the middle of Pilot power 3's

Alright so took her on a run last night, with new, fully broke in rubber; pilot power 3's.

I was walking past my bike today and I noticed a line Down the middle of both tires, about as wide as a sharpie, it looks like its just a bit darker than the the rest of the rubber, literally looks like a sharpie mark.

Anyway has anyone noticed this on teir pp3's?

And before its said, I can assure you I've already identified the 2ct lines, it is not that.

Thanks!

All pilot powers and pilot power 2cts iv ever owned or put on a friends bike had a wierd "line" that develop not quite dead centre of the tire.. The rears are much easier to see this "line". What I'm referring to is in your picture but is not the grey line that is obvious- its the small black line(almost a groove cut out rather than a line) can be seen slightly to the right of the grey line that's in your pic.. Iv noticed this on every Michelin tire iv ever owned or installed- over 10 sets.

This is wrong- he is looking at the obviouse grey wax indicator line seen on all new tires. Sometimes they are green or yellow also. Look slightly to the right of the grey line and zooooom in. You will see a small black line that goes around the whole tire (usually not even or perfectly strait)looks more like a groove in person. Common on all pilots

you're right. just went and looked at mine. they are even newer than slovy's. so it's not very evident yet. in fact i had to wipe the tire off and look at it in just the right light.
