they make some money off the product they sell too I thought, but yeah I suppose 100 is a good price to charge but I couldnt pay some that much to change my oil, its just too easy to do and if youre paying 100 youre just lazy and thats what you pay for laziness i suppose

ah yeah, change your own oil for sure. But another department makes a little bit off the parts. Putting where I work aside, If I needed something I try to get it from someone in the houston area just to support the local shops and keep the lights on instead of ordering from people whoring out old stuff online.

but some people dont have time or knowledge to do oil changes. thats fine, I would learn to change it to save money and gain knowledge if i were those guys.

negative. i am using a bosch extended life car oil filter. car filters are actually proven to work better than OEM motorcycle filters on bobistheoilguy.com and the fact that they are bigger they will last longer.

So many oil experts up in here...and nobody has suggested EVOO yet? WTF? My tundra has 10K mile intervals, which I thought was excessive, so i sent a sample to the lab for analysis after my first oil change. Blackstone report showed I could have easily gone 15k+ without issue. I don't want any of you newbies running to your local watering hole and ordering Lone Star beer now either...some of the local bars are now trying to charge premium prices on Lone Star because of you kids!!!

Just spent $200 tires + $100 to install + $100 oil change = $400

Jets right about the line star. has become a premium at some spots. silly

What solracer said plus you get to meet and build more relationships in the motorcycle community. You can never have to many friends to help you out when you need something.
