My parents worry too much so we agreed that i could fix and sell but never ride. - This is just a little background about me i guess.... but my question is... What if i was to build a little track bike take it on the track and record my laptimes and what if those laptimes were beyond exceptional? what if they broke records for that track, would one get recognition? Chances of me doing this is close to 0 but wouldn't hurt to ask huh... But im just curious lol...
Sounds like a plan. Mount a camera to your bike and post up the video

Re: Better lap times and going pro

Save up a million dollars. That might float you on competitive machinery long enough to get picked up. Judging how Blake Young, Tommy Hayden, and Ben Bostrom are without rides this year...not much chance of you ever getting picked up...honestly. Follow your dream, but have a plan B.

Re: Better lap times and going pro

You kart? GT Academy. A lot of their drivers are doing well. You'd just have to go on that stupid show. Make happen, you won't know unless you try.

Grow up and get out of your parents house and out from under their thumb. After that, you can break all the records you want
