You completely missed the point of his comment. He wasn't bragging just letting someone else that was concerned that the 2ndgroup pace wouldn't be fast enough.

Come out and join us and i am sure you will have fun in the second group.
Hey Dude, your ride your rules, I guess. Be safe and enjoy the ride!

Truth.

My first SMR I was with the lead portion of group 2. The cats up at the front are not messing around. Good times!

Thanks for your understanding, it is nothing personal, making one exception would leave doors open for more exceptions and soon enough we wouldn't have any rules at all. If you change your mind you are more than welcome to join us and meet some good people and have a great time as a group.

Thanks Hung, we try our best to organize our rides and make improvements every time in order to make it safer and fun for everyone!

The second group is a lot of fun specially in the front of the group, still structured and moving at a good pace as opposed to the first group where there are no rules at all.

I am very sure with 30 years of experience he should know what he is doing, problem is that nobody in the first group has ridden with him before and it would be a bad idea to throw him in the mix of a fast paced ride where there are no rules at all. On the other hand, you have seen me plenty of times ride in the second group and i still have plenty of fun without having our bikes overheating at all.

Yeap, our SMR is about safety and having fun riding in a group environment, it is not about speed. The guys in the second and third group have as much fun as the guys in the first group

It doesnt look like we have enough riders to make a third group as of right now, if things change and more people signs up then we will start a third group for sure.
