yeah that sounds like a good idea, saving the one on one for later down the road. i love riding the track, texas roads are boring for the most part, hard to find decent roads and there are only a few which are kinda short. haha its all good, i got to test out a new brand, im going with it for now probably, its got some nice points to it too thought luckily

If you contact Ridesmart via email (randy@ridesmart.info) and let them know you are a first time rider, you can get a code to apply when registering for 50% off your first track day and get free leathers and boots rental (leave your driver's license with them while you borrow them).

Or, one of the orgs on here might already have a new rider track code. I would suspect NewRider/Ivan might have one, PM him to see.

If it hasn't been said, I would suggest going to a track day first just to check it out, think about what you'll need, and also can sit in the back of the classes between sessions and just listen, people will be more than happy to answer all your questions at the track, addicts love nothing more than helping someone else get hooked too, also seeing will make you think of things you wouldn't have otherwise. Also they do parade laps during lunch which help get acquainted with the track too.

with Fastline you get plenty of instruction in the Novice class for your first day.

And you can corner work for your track time if you are short on cash.

Well if one on one is $150 + the track day ($150 ish) then I think I'd go do a private day at msrh with a more qualified teacher. It's $350 and twice the seat time (4 hours) on an empty track.

And I agree with others.. I don't think I'd take one on one my first track day. But I'd definitely get some one on one at some point.

oh thats pretty sick right here, I didnt know about this one.. If you got the cash I would probably do a couple track days and then check this out for sure. I might even do this myself.

just ask anyone at Fastlinemcs.com what they reccomend. They won't steer you wrong.

I made it to Intermediate class half way through my third track day.
