At what point do u call it quits?

So my Xr650R was burning oil...I really didnt pay attention and wasnt checking the oil like I should have. Long story short...Ive already spent more are wheels and parts to convert it to supermoto than the bikes worth. This incident just adds more cash to the HOLE!! Thought it was as easy as a piston, rings, cam and rockers. But now it needs a new rod (so pretty much a bottom end).

At what point should U give up, cut ur losses and part the out?

It is only money.

You can't take it with you when you die.

If you have a ton of it when you die your family will just fight over it.

listen, i can help get you out of this awful situation...
and get you some beer money in the process...
just drop it off at my office.
Then think of how much money you saved by not spending it on the bike.
I will pay you the going rate for scrap metal, how much did that thing weigh?
