You can check to see if he is still offering the service. Floyd works at a Subaru dealership off BW8 and 59, I think.

Is $99 with the wheel on the bike, or off? If wheel on, that is a good deal!

I personally take off my wheels to have the new tires mounted and balanced. Reduces the chance of them being installed incorrectly, improper chain slack, and scratching the wheels during mount and dismount...even though one of the techs at a dealership on the SW side scratched the out of my wheel lip

$99 is for both front and rear on the bike. That's the best deal we have on install. $139.99 for a 190/50-17 Dunlop Q2 or $219 for the set with a 120/70-17 front.

If it were up to me, Yes. But I am not part of the service department. They charge $65 per wheel on the bike for single tires.

That Cycle Gear price must be for Qualifiers, not Q2's. Very different tires. Also, wheels off the bike?

I'm not promoting CG by any means, but I got Q2's. I got them to replace the crappy stock Qualifiers on my R6. Just letting OP know what I paid for them. And yes M&B with wheels off. See pics.

You got a 180; OP was asking about deals on 190/55.. those cost just a wee bit more.
