MAN!

I have been looking for a fast-pitch baseball league!

I haven't played since HIgh School ('98), but I was a decent pitcher and hitter on a decent AAA team.

Don't know how the old arm will hold up after I obliterated my collar bone in 2002, but the docs say it should be better than new.

I might be interested in checking it out - what's the skill level? College players? People who play alot?

cashtown, theres about 2 or 3 very solid teams with talent....we might be one of those but we sometimes just lack pitching, when everyone shows up our batting line up 1-6 is prob the best in the league. get in contact with eman, call him up im sure you can go pitch for us.

yankee, if you can handle a bat decently and your glove decently, then you might have just found a home at 2nd base, like i said above, its best to call eman, he doesnt get on here much.

In the day I could play just about any position and hit with decent power and average......that was almost 10 years ago.

Oh and when I said that I played on a decent AAA team I meant UIL AAA -- High School ball not like the Round Rock Express or something, I'm no ringer

i use to pitch some. i had bad tentinitis flare that limited me to catching (ocasional hard throwing). im not sure i would be willing to pitch since my stuff is high heat and no movement.

Yeah, i lost my curveball after the wreck that snapped the collar bone -- can't bring my arm straight over the top.

In a game, I once tried to throw a changeup, I figured I'd just throw it slower than the fast ball. Only homerun I ever gave up and only changeup I ever threw.

I threw a no-hitter in the first game I ever pitched in (granted it was on the JV team) and then got arrested for P.O.M. on my way home by a sheriff who had watched the game. I guess he knew I was 'in the zone!'
