Idk what happen but it was at the chevron gas station. I was walking out and heard a loud boom, saw a stranger yell oh my it was really bad. I turned in that direction and ran as fast as I could to help. When I got there it was already too late. Looked like he popped the curb and hit something.

On my short ride home on I45 yesterday (N.L.336 to FM242) I counted 5/5 people riding with no gear at all... I'm really sorry you had to go through that, some things you can't un-see.

If you're spooked there's no shame in parking it for awhile.

We see this every spring. Guys that've ridden "all their life" get their scoots out because the weather is as good as we get, so they ride in on a couple Fridays (and become instant "commuters") and they'll be out joyriding the next few weekends before the humidity catches up. By July their bikes will be buried in the garage behind the lawn mower and the kid's bikes again. Eventually their bike will be sold with an average of less than 1K/yr usage. Or they'll crash.

That may or may not be the case in this instance, but it is the time of year that the casual motorcyclist makes his best attempt at this sport. Most make it through, but some fail.
