Saying goodbye to a friend and Hello to a new one

Well after a few months I finally pulled the trigger on a bike. For a long time I had be vacillating between a NC700, Versys, Vstrom. Finally narrowed it down to the NC700 or Vstrom. Well the Vstrom won out and I could not be happier, sad to say a bike that I only had for two months is gone, So it was out with the new old and in with the new. Oh well thats how things work.

Also decided to unload my Breva, the bike that got me back into biking and served me well for the 2.25 years I owned her. I will miss the uniqueness of that ride and I will be missing the sound, power and handling of the triumph triple.

However the triumph won't be a stranger and I will see it often as another MH'er bought her. He will probably take the bike to it's potential.
Pics of the old and the new.

Well in a short time I will be adding another but it will be taking some time to get it into riding shape.

GRSA,

So, out with the triple and in with the V stom? What is the story? I almost bought a VS a couple months ago, but the stars did not align. Now that you are not so fast, maybe we can hook up for a ride, the V7R is running strong. Congrats!

-Need to break it in first Brian,or I could just bring it over to the shop and let it sit for an hour or two.

Before I sold the guzzi it was actually running stonger than ever with almost 57K miles. But I needed to make room in the garage for the new vstrom and a bike that will be coming soon. Vstrom is much faster than the old breva though.

I'm considering a wee strom in the future perhaps. Aesthetically not appealing but I think a few get offs in the dirt can fix the looks department lol

Looking good so far. Yes, the Wee needs some hard bags to look even more proper.

The Sprint a helluva nice ST too. David will be a happy camper.

Oh yeah I know he will. Getting off the hornet on that is like me getting off the guzzi and on the vstrom.
A world of difference.
