Honestly, semi related, for those of us who are going to TX2k13 or for any of us anywhere near I-10w, the beltway, Hardy Toll today/tonight...be ON THE BALL and keep eyes open. This ends up being the superbowl of hwy streetracing with 1000+ hp cars.

I was just about to inquire about this. I saw cops, firetrucks, EMS, towtrucks at the top of beltway 8 and under on the feeder of 45 as well, and some reason I couldn't help but think it was a cyclist. I just passed by it about 30mins a go on the way to work!

Very sad! RIP.

I read a comment that a witness said he was traveling at a "high rate of speed". I am paranoid of those ramps. I have had the expansion joints kick my end out way too often. I definitely wont push them in the morning. Cold roads AND expansion joints. no.

I dont know if any of this contributed. Just watch your . Too much of this has been happening. I am getting sick of RIP threads.
