Stealth popo Electra

Said I'd post on the buildout when there's enough to actually post. It's started, and the overtime checks have been spent on all sorts of stuff.

Goal is to eventually have this bike at Stage 4 pushing about 120 horses. That should happen within the year. As for now, it's being built to be a stealth popo escort bike, that can speed convert to a goodtime ride.

First pic is on the way home from dealership, brand new. Swapped out the original piston solo seat for a deep bucket with passenger seat, so my Goddaughter can ride. Added passenger floorboards. Eventually, for show it will go back to a solo seat, but a Roland Sands with interior brown distressed leather, and brown leather grips. But this is the base line cruiser.

Re: Stealth popo Electra

Took out the stock red and blues up front and added Whelen LED stealthy strobes. They're red and blue strobing, but white when turned off.

Fabricated siren speaker bracket from a machine shop. Friend cut it for free. Dude coordinates a couple of charity motorcycle benefits, so looks like I'll be escorting those free. , I would anyway.

Re: Stealth popo Electra

Siren is a 100 watt Sho-Me Able 2, about a third of the cost of the same Whelen.

How much clearance did you loose with the slammer kit?
My concern with lowered baggers is dragging hard parts in the corners.
It's not like they have a ton of ground clearance to begin with.

Re: Stealth popo Electra

That's the mods so far. Will try to get a video of the lights popping shortly.

Next up, Stage 1. Going to go with Rinehart black slipons, a Screaming Eagle black circular intake with the red filter, and since I'll be going to stage 4, going to bite the bullet for the HD racing ECM so they don't whine about having to remap a Power Commander.

2 inches. It's not dragging in corners anything other than floorboards, and I really have to crank it over for that. I'll put a sac anode under the boards in short order.

For some reason, they build the popo Electras really high up. I mean, more than the stock Classics.

Yup. Brand new Harley bagger for 16k out the door. Got about 2k more into it right now with the escort gear in it.

When I'm done with it, I hope it'll be a real showpiece. Going to black out the bike also, with the slotted shotgun fork sleeves, blacked out lights and forks, primary cover, heat shields, the whole smash. Brother in law is a powder coater. Going to bogart an entire weekend from him.

Josh, Los Carnales / La Familia Bay Area chapter meets at Jackie's Brick House in Kemah, noon on third Saturday of every month.

And if you guys want to see a whole crapload of Harley riding Carnal and Familia having a helluva good time, come by in June. Bay Area Bash is our annual chapter fundraiser, and we get downright stupid. Ask for The Brain, I'll be happy to buy you a beer and introduce you around.
