Kitaco / clipping point?

Anybody heard of this bore kit and big valve head? Price is about 1/2 of the cheapest takegawa kit.

They dont' specify valve size, so how do yo know its truly big valve? You'll need a larger carb too, don't forget that.

Rob you've been holding out on me...I was just kind of thinking out loud but that first one you posted has me really considering it. It comes with the cylinder, head, carb and adapter manifold for $500. Are you or Vaughn familiar with it? I wonder why it's so much cheaper than the Takegawa stuff?

idk how much shipping is since there overseas but that site has alot of goodies and ships worldwide, I haven't bought from them yet but Ive heard good stuff about them. there was someone on the grid using the kitaco kit but i don't remember who, check with vaughn I know he did some research before he pulled the trigger on "a" 115 kit..

why u looking, you have the yosh kit on the shelf and there was no catastrophic failure on the F7 bike.. u guys are trying to make me spend money too it, lol

That site says free shipping with a $530 order, but you still might have to pay some kind of import tax or customs on it that they don't show.

The yosh kit is ok, but you know you need some head work to wake up an XR100.

My F6 bike is kind of a dog in the engine dept. plus I'm off work this week and have more time to think of excuses why I'm slow. That big valve head is the last excuse I've got so maybe I'll hold off a while.

I have bought parts from japan before and got free shipping and didnt have to pay any customs or anything like that. I hear ya on the head and the head alone is near 500 bucks so u might aswell get the whole kit, lol

check to make sure everything is spot on with the f6 bike (timing, valves, compression, etc.) then get ur gearing right before you do anything rash, be nice to know what parts he used to make that motor. I wouldnt mind taking it for a spin but Im not gonna lie, those brakes scare me

You fellow's looking for a 26mm carb kit?

I've not listed it anywhere but, I have a BBR 26mm complete carb kit with everything from the carb manifold to the throttle housing, cable, and the grip housing. I'll knock $60 off this kit from it's retail price.

BTW it's new and still has the factory box it came in.

PM me and let me know. TJ.
