It depends a lot on what his budget is for this kinda bike. One that is rideable but kinda rough won't be horribly expensive.
Finding one that is a more pristine collector bike will be much more pricey.
For a decent one you might try Walneck's.

If his taste's run to the finer end of the spectrum try MidAmerica Auctions they have 3 auctions this year.

You shut your mouth. and lol probably the only shop in town where you can walk into the show room and see a 48 Indian and 48 Harley + 37 Indian 4. There's a few 1913-19 Indians and Harley's floating around here too.
