Kinda strange since they are the main lobby group for the demographic most in need of self protection.

This thread remains me of that "got milk" commercial where 3 old farts are drinking milk at a dinner and pick a fight with 3 punk kids..

I think you are seeing visions of what you will be like at 50. So you think he should get a TMAX?

I have a couple of riding buddies in their 60s and a couple in their 70s that can out ride circles around people half their age. One that is 72 goes out to check on his cow pasture fence line on his dirt bike and wheelies all over the place on it just playing around.

Is he too old for that hardcore of a bike or should he be considering an FJR or something similar in his sunset years? I guess he gets around ok on it but looks a little funny when you see his knee high socks at stop lights with the velcro strap tennis shoes.
Right on. Caring what others ride is about as bad as females hating on other ladies for them looking good.

Got my first supersport a couple of years ago. I remember when they were just motorcycles and you had to kick 'em - no fancy pushbutton starters. All the new gadgets on these bikes make it harder to ride than programming a VCR.
