3/3 noobday afterthoughts

where are all the pictures people were taking? :confused2

so after the day is finally over. what are your thoughts on this track or trackdays in general. from my perspective, there were a lot of run-offs and wrecks (well, more than i expected). from what i seen, it seems like nobody was following the correct race line, which in turn led people to go off-roading or crashing. in my first few trackdays, i didn't understand the concept of the race line....but now i see more than ever how important it is to hold that line.

all in all, i'm glad whoever wrecked or went off ended up okay. it was good to meet some of you people out there. the girls were really kickin out there too. MORE POWER TO YOU GIRLS! :icon_bigg (Nutmegchoi is still slow though )

I'm uploading about 237 of them to photo bucket. If you want, I can put your name in the title so you can show others, just PM me the photo #, and your name. In the cases of multiple riders in pics, I will start from left to right. Let me know if I can do anything else. Be sure to let me know which one is you, (ie, far left, middle, far right ect).

Here is the link, I have now:

I would also like to take this time to thank all the instructors who helped us with our first day. The food was awesome, people were awesome, and the track was awesome! We can't wait for another Track Day!

Rick

First trackday for me and it was everything I expected and more!!!! Thank you sooo much Buck.

OK the morning started off great and learned allot in such a short amount of time. But by lunch time my leathers were wearing in, FINALLY, and I was getting a lil more confident. Anyone who knows me, knows I love speed, so therefore I would catch myself going into a few turns too hot, atleast for me!!! We just got outta a class room session and talked about turn 3-5 a.k.a Diamond Back. I guess I didn't really realize how difficult of a turn that really is until people were pointing out. Well of course this made me more caution during that turn, and well what do you know the very next session I was coming outta turn 5 and was looking where everyone else had been running off, and I got the good ole TRAGET FIXATION. Yes I went into the sand, and laid it over. BUT i did ride every session there after I didnn't let it get to me. I had to leave a couple of sessions a lil early cause my thumb/wrist was hurting. But all in all I learned allot, had a blast, and met allot of new interesting people.

Thank you again Buck, and to ALL of the instructors. BTW Ganzo video??? how do i get a copy?

Video!

Speaking of video, we pointed the camera at the track and left it on using a tripod. I will try upload it to the album as soon as I can. You may have seen it pointed at the last turn...

Trackdays are a blast. Now you know why I did 10 last year. Ready to crank it up again.

Don't feel bad, 50cc. I spun the back tire coming out of that turn an 60mph and crashed. Bike went off into that nasty dirt. I'm still cleaning it out!

Those are pics of noobs? I guess I should have gone.:eh:
Any way 50cc Chic props to you for havin the grit to go back out there after a get off! It can be intimidating to ride on a track anyway and then to have an incident and come back from it shows strength.
To everyone hope you and your scoots are ok and now that youve had a taste of trackdays dont come back. So there is room for me.

J/K you will be hooked!
