You can join the track by filling out the downloadable application at the bottom of the Gulf Coast Kartway website. Mail it in with payment to join the track, then wait for the card. I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for mine to arrive, I'm going to call tomorrow just to make sure they got it. Congrats on the 65, I just started on a NSR50 myself. Try to post if your going to practice that way a group can maybe show up. I've heard sharing the track with the karting guys is easier n numbers.

there are a lot of good tires availale in 17's.
12" and 17" are the most common, a few guys use 16".
dunlop and bridgestone are the most common tires used.

the most common bikes used are the crf/xr100 and the klx110. These two offer the most versatility and can be used in the most classes...
The kx65 is the most popular for the f5 and unlimited classes...

the crf and kx do not race against each other in class races, there are a couple of races based on the rider that they may race together.
There is a thread titled what is tmpg where the bikes and classes are listed and they are on the tmpg webiste.
