To bad the 23 point inspection doesn't cover battery check!

Man, not even 15 minutes after getting my bike serviced, it goes dead while in the middle lane of 45S, 2pm, ugh!! Special thanks to the rider who helped me push it off the side of the freeway... Make sure to check your batteries people!!

This. I had a similar experience few months ago, but mine was on a local road. It is hard to push that bike in traffic..

We did.

We check the battery as part of our 23 point oil change inspection.
I haven't spoken to the tech yet to see if it was borderline but it is part of the check. Sometimes you can also have a component go out with little to no indication.
I've seen more than one bike pull up to a store or restaraunt running fine and have the battery out on them when the try to leave. The tiny internal intercell connectors can break makng the battery useless.
That said I'm sorry you got stranded, wished you'd have called us, we could have come gotten you.
Is it the battery for sure or did the charging system give out?
If you need a battery come up to the shop Monday and I'll get you taken care of.

I have gotten all my bikes checked by Patrick. His techs are supposed to do the battery inspection and charging system and I watch them do it on my bikes.

Might have been a bad connection somewhere?

Let us know what the issue was! Dead on 45s doesn't sound like the battery to me, but I'm no expert.
