The Dyna is back...

After a two year hiatus, the Dyna is refreshed and ready to roll...

I am going to be making some changes to her in the near future...

I'm getting my stock rims and hubs powder coated black and relacing them with stainless spokes. The plan is to have two full wheel sets each with tires, blake rotors and pulley, ready to swap out depending on the mood... Modern Billet Chrome, old school blacked out spokes...should be fun...

Good looking Dyna bro. I love the look and the ride of the older Dynas, they're great bikes and lots of fun. Not too big and not too small with plenty of power and great handling.

Step one. Get the current wheels, Brake Rotors, and Pulley matched up.

So I got the new brake rotors.. But I guess I ordered two front rotors since they sent me two front rotors, so I was only able to mount up the front... Had to order the rear rotor, it should be here tomorrow, the pulley arrived today and is awaiting installation..

Nothing Wrong with the Russell Full Floating Rotors, I am going to be using them on the "new" rims when I get them back in about 3 weeks...

So matchy-match we go...

Here she is... I think the pulley made the biggest difference. I can't wait to get the old rims back from powder coating and relacing, that should really transform the old girl...

New rotors and pulley installed.

Update...

Got it back together and remembered that the top end was overdue for a re-build... So, new weisco 10.1 compression pistons, some additional head work upgraded valve train, S&S reed breather valve, New motor mounts, and a list of other minor upgrades/fixes and the new/old wheels mounted up.. Just another 300 miles to break her in and we'll see what the dyno says... Already feels much stronger...

Here she is...

Those Thunderheaders are wicked. I love that curled under look, and every bike I've ever heard with Thunderheaders sounds nice and throaty, not a tin-can pop but a nice rumble.

Your bike looks amazing.

Thanks Bro! She's doin alright for a 20 year old bike...

As far as I am concerned, there is no other pipe for performance and sound that I would ever put on a Harley, Oh, and you hit the nail on the head, it looks like its part of the bike, not like it's just hanging out there in the breeze...

Thanks again!
