When I talked to a KTM North American rep a few months ago about if and when it would be released here in the states he wasn't sure. I would get rid of my RC8R for this bike! Power to weight ratio is insane!

Isn't it pretty much the same as RC8's? The wet weight on both the bikes seems to be the same (430 ish)? The only difference I am seeing naked vs supersport..

Since they won't be bringing the KTM Duke 125 to the US, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 390 Duke. The 1290 is just more motorcycle than I would ever need for the street, but I certainly would love to have one or two if they were just handing them out.
