Contact trooper or chris 5.0 here. Trooper gave me my policy and been happy with it for like a year and a half. It was cheaper than geico, progressive and farmers.

Full coverage on a 12 year old R6? No, thanks. I have an 06 and just liability. It isn't worth throwing away that much money. I'm paying $45 for the year on the R6.

Unfortunately when you get full coverage, you're helping to pay for everyone else’s crashed and or stolen bikes

It's a 2001 Yamaha Champions Limited Edition R6 in showroom fresh condition. Ultra low miles. The last year Yamaha put carburetors (air aspirated) in their bikes before they switched to fuel injection.

Good deal

I went with a local allstate agent. Was going to pay 600 dollars a month for full coverage but now only paying 150. Yikes!

I have a zx-14 and I pay $65 a month for full coverage, tow, rsa, everything only 65 buck state farm. It was something crazy like 150 when i first went with them because the zx-14 was in its own class but they dropped that

I'm happy with Geico. For full coverage (incl theft) and $250 deductibles on two bikes, I pay roughly $110/mo.

I'ts the county you live in as well.. not sure if it still applies but Harris used to be 3rd highest rates in the US, behind NYC and LA

My rates moving to CO dropped drastically.. for the 4 bikes in my sig, FC with aftermarket parts coverage, $30 a month.

When I lived in Houston, best rate by far was Progressive, bundled with the cars.

30 for full coverage on 4 bikes? That is insane.. But it is probably because you don't ride year long?

Partly that, and partly because I don't have thousands of bike thiefs in my town, and hundreds of thousands of uninsured, unlicensed drivers to dodge...

It's all about the amount of claims an insurance company has to pay out in a certain geographic area, that and the age of the rider, marital status, driving history, credit score, renter or home owner, etc

I know you care about your bike but it isn't anything special. It's just one of hundreds of thousands of sportbikes out there. Five years at that rate is a ton of money being wasted.

On a slightly related note, I once owned a really nice R1 that the cost just went higher each year. Since I could not find a lower insurance rate I just sold the bike. To this day I'm still mad I had to do that. I hate having to pay for squids.
