Stepping up to the bike boys bike(1/4 liter)

picked up a 2008 hyosung 250 Sunday. This will be interesting... Gonna teach a few people how to ride and used it for the summer drive to work. Hoping to take advantage of the 50ish MPG.
I
I'll post pics post later when I have time.

How many 250's do we have around here?

My daughter said "to heck with the mustang... I want the bike for my first vehicle".

i was a proud 250 owner prior to getting my sv650 i liked the lime green 2nd gen's i will prob own/race another one. pick one up and make it my first track bike.

and i'd def like to own a 3rd gen 250 now that the 300 is out it will make those puppies less expensive. i really like the updates they made to the bike

rode a hyosung gt250r, the cbr250, and a 09 ninja 250....all of them seem super lackluster and had crappy build quality compared to the ninja 300.

Good news is the prices of those bikes are probably going to plummet as the 300 becomes available used after everyone upgrades to a 600/1000.

I have a couple or three Ninja 250's and used to own a Hyosung Comet 250. We race a 250 in CMRA (BRAWP Racing). Great bikes. Soooo much fun on a racetrack. Like, rediculous fun. Ask the 50+ guys who raced them in endurance at MSRH a few weeks ago with CMRA...

We got 8th and 14th places on Brawpx1 and Brawpx2 woohoo.

http://www.cmraracing.com/Results/20...51/me/51_4.xml

Motohouston guys on HALFFAST got 21st in their first outing

Slyder and crew with Leather and Lace took 19th.

My oldest wants to learn how to ride and I'm seriously considering one for him. It's a great place to start as a new rider.

BTW - I was impressed at how well your wife handled things this past Sunday on the ride. Kudos to her for getting back on the bike and beating back her fears, that was impressive.
