AND I would have gone if I wasn't at the track this day.. Nothing wrong watching some experienced riders from the back

You stated that day is track day at MSRH, not that you were riding. Regardless that will be fun for this and you will continue to learn.

We always stop at intersections and regroup but without a sweeper you might find yourself just a little longer in the ditch if you don't ride your own pace, basically if you feel uncomfortable to ride without a sweeper then that person should ride a different group style ride....
It's not our style to leave people behind laying on the side of the road
