Shout out to Stubbs-dealer experience

Been trying a few bikes as you may know and just stopped by the dealership on Telephone road. Have not bought I a bike yet but you would not know it by the treatment I have gotten. Plus one for Brian and Rick (who I found out is from the same area in Maine that I am) and with a population of about 70,000 people what are the chances. Brian has been very accommodating in letting me test a few bikes, working the deals and I have narrowed my choices. Anyway just wanted to say they have treated me right.

I am only writing this as they promised to not post any pictures of me on the DN01(JK), they do a great job.
Keep up the customer service I have received thus far.

Please keep any negatives out of this thread.

Tested a Vstrom, GSXF, NC700(not there) and DN01. Looks like it may be the NC700 or VStrom. Pros and Cons to both. Although the DN01 which is code for Do Not Own One (at least that is what I was told) I would have leaned to that just for being the only person in Houston with one.

Ed is referring to Garza. He's over the HD store next door these days but it would be worth you stopping in and saying hi. Just make sure not to mention Ed's or my name.

Love Stubbs! I drive an extra 30 miles past Mancuso to go there I needed parts for my blast. Wish they would carry XB parts but since I'm up near brenham I just ride up to Austin and hit Central HD/Buell. Real nice guys there too. Everything else I get from ABS. Did TexMex use to work the parts counter?

The nc700 is coming out on top so far based on my decision matrix. Tiger is a bit tall, stret triple nit enough wind protection.

Well he's getting a good deal on the nc700 or the dl650 if he wants it. But I'll extend the same deal to anyone else interested. I always take care of fellow MH'ers.

Have you test ridden the nc700x? What are your thoughts? I've been thinking about one for a commuter. Brakes ok?

It makes an outstanding commuter bike. Brakes are good, but they aren't sport bike bakes. Hopefully we'll get some more in soon.
