Not on a race weekend. You can go as a members guest on a weekend that has nothing scheduled. Watch this section of the forum for a posted practice day and get with one of the guys going out. That is if you are talking about riding the track...
spectators are welcome at any event.

This bike is so tempermental towards weather. I was squaring away some last minute items today and I ran it and warmed it up. from lower rpms when you snap the throttle to wot it bogs nastu. once in the upper rpms it runs strong as usual. I guess its off the rev limiter the entire race. It runs great in temps above 65. I did some fine tuning today with the air screw and it seemed to help a little. Do two strokes rewct more to weather then 4 strokes?

P.s. Mike if I get lapped this is my excuse now....lmao

Dirt, Street, Track, Dual Sport, I like em all.

Yes 2 strokes are touchy with temp swings. Get with someone at the track and they can get you squared away. I have jets that might work, but I dont know the best starting place for different temps on the KX. There are a few guys out at the races running the 65 that can help get ya in the right spot.

Welcome to all the folks new to TMGP. I have a heck of a good time doing it and meeting and socializing with folks there. If anyone needs anything that I can help with, just ask. If I have the means and time I dont mind helping.

Quick question. I have both a motorcycle helmet and a dirt bike helmet, which would you suggest for this weekend?

I'm going to be wearing leathers either way, but I'd hate to take a small spill in my Shark and ruin my only good track helmet. From what I've read, dirt bike helmets are designed for slower speed impacts anyways, yes?

If it is really hot wear the dirt helmet but I feel more comfortable/safe weraing the street.

i expect to get there between 8 and 8:30... remember to dress warm with something to block the wind... it is much windier out there on the flat land with nothing to cut the wind at all...
