I agree there is a large group, but when there is a faster group and a slower group you never know when someone who "thinks" they are fast sneaks into the fast group.

I'm sure if EVERYONE is doing the same slow pace we will be fine. I understand your concern, man. You're a good husband

Uh, no, that is not a noob pace. That's a “guaranteed rider with a large group in the ditch” pace. You don't around on 3090

Bevo can be direct but he is serious here. 3090 can and will you up even if you know ther road. I have said it before and will say it again..that road is tough and scares me. I ride fast most places but I slow the down on 3090 because i have seen enough wrecks there to make me nervous. 3090 is my kryptonite and I respect it.
Not trying to scare anyone but just be very aware that if you go to fast on 3090without the skill and knowledge of the road...it will bite you.

If the turn is posted at 15 mph and you do 15 mph, you'll be fine.

First group ride I ever went on back in 2007 we rode through the forest and 3090. A guy went wide in the same turn Coach Dave (RIP) went down on. There were no noob rides back then, just respect for roads you've never been on, and riding at your own comfortable pace

True:
We are not going to take noobs on a dangerous road at a fast pace.
I agree. I wish that there was such a thing as a noob ride in my past. It was follow, keep up if you can and hope you make back home.

All new riders, come and take advantage of the wealth of knowledge here and the cool people you will meet.
