vstroms are a nice choice and can easily add luggage + topcase for your photography gear.

Also, i cant say enough good things about the SV650 if you're an all around'er kinda guy you can have just as much ADV on the sv650 as the Vstrom (same engine) at a much cheaper price (more $$ for goodies like that top case and hard luggage)

The Vstrom is the only considerable choice (imo) out of the 3 you have chosen, the Versys IS kaw's answer to the vstrom and its powerplant is significantly LESS enthusiastic as the 90' v-twin. (you'll get a smile every ride out of that powerplant)

I think you hit the nail on the head with your last comment. I really did like the 90 degree V-twin. If it wasn't for a passenger on occassion I would consider the versys, however I do have to take that into consideration.
They really did like the Honda's smoothness, I was less excited about the powerplant but overall it was smooth and easy to ride. Out of the three honda and suzuki are fairly close, with the lead going to the vstrom.

Was cut short on my response, but anyway it felt like I really had to make my feet work to find the controls and the engine was definitely not as linear as I would like. Riding position was fine though as far as sitting on the bike and it was very light and flickable.

Yes sir, the wee strom won out of those three. Suzuki has a killer deal on financing so why not use there money.
Stubbs/Brian treated me right.
