The KTM's are not that far out of your price range compared to the SF. If I found a BMW HP2 Sport I would trade that KTM in a heartbeat.

Right on, just making sure. Who will represent the RM's on Sunday then?

will all three group leaders be taking the same route and converging at the same place for breaks and/or final destination?
how much gap between each group?

On paper they are pretty similar, now in real world riiding is another thing.White355i will soon find out for himself. I think for him it came down to the design and ergos of the RC8R. I would love to see how the 1198 handles as compared to my KTM.

1) Yes

2) half a mile to a mile

3) no problem at all, we have been doing our rides for more than 6 years now and never disclose the route or eta at any destination or breaks for obvious reasons.

Well once i take your RC8R for a test ride i can give you an idea of how it compares to the Ducati in handling and power delivery

Anytime. Jimmy was able to give me alot of positive feedback on the what the bike can really do. He is a much more accomplished rider, so now I have a good idea of what it is capable of.

From what I read, the 1098/1198 series bikes are faster than the RC8, but not by much. The RC8's benefit in ergos and are faster in the corners compared to the ducs..

Just make sure you get your suspension dialed in for your riding style. I prefer my Ohlins suspension on the Ducati over the WP on the KTM; but it's still a very high end suspension.
