The more you have on, the better off you are in an accident.

I'm sure we all want a piece of this trash, but we'd better not jeopardize Brian's case. Just compensation is the #1 priority, after his healing up.

After that... it's fair game.

Say, I recently posted a textile/mesh jacket in the gear section, 65% off new, size medium. In case it fits & you don't want to splash for new right away...

Any time one lands on his face, be on the watch for whiplash. Pushing a head back is the same as having a back pushed forward. My whiplash symptoms did not show up till 4 months after the bike accident just so you know. Then I started getting head aches and could not concentrate when sitting at a desk. The MD gave me a muscle relaxant and only then did I notice how tight my upper back muscles and neck had become.

I would ask my lawyer about getting a full back X-Ray and seeing an MD and a COMPETENT chiropractor sooner rather than later. The earlier one finds the problem the easier it is to treat. Finding a COMPETENT chiropractor is the hard part. I've known some that did absolutely no good and others that really helped a lot. A competent one will also have someone massage your neck / back before the adjustment to help it take better.

oh believe me i know, i have been in car accidents before. and i've also been deployed. i've had my back looked at more than once by the right people. i have a dr's appointment today at 3. then we will go from there. will definitely have to see someone about my foot as well. this is going to be drawn out, i just hope it's not for too long.

Glad you were able to walk away, and thanks for posting pics of the gear. I think it's important to see the damage the gear absorbed instead of your body. Chicken move on the driver's part and hope he gets what he legally deserves in the end.
