Been there done that don't want to go thru it again.
I'm glad to see it's no worse than this, and that you'll live to ride another day.
And hey, aren't you in MC sales if anybody can get a good deal on a new bike YOU should be able to. And it sounds like a good attorney could make it real affordable.

But seriously,

I wear a similar joe rocket jacket. After seeing it I may have to step up a notch for the weekend rides. Still looks perfectly good for the daily commute though.

At least the guy accepted responsibility after the fact.

Tell us more details when you feel like it.
Oh ok never mind. I just saw the shots of your leg when i hit the preview post button. Ahh, those are just the right size.... battle scares that will go away and only leave memories of how tough you are.

What 's old saying, Whatever doesn't kill us only makes us smarter/tougher.

yeah i'll be stepping up my protection level on the next bike. and yes i am in sales wont be too long before i am back at it again. i am lawyering up and it should be pretty straight forward. tons of witnesses, all saying the same thing.

but yeah be careful guys these idiots are out there, they think it's acceptable to put our lives in danger over petty arrogance.

I think missing knee/shin protection is a crashed rider's biggest regret afterwards that I can see from these threads. That looks wicked, but glad it wasn't worse.

yeah had an existing knee injury and this definitely doesn't help. i'm a small guy and i think that actually played to my advantage. less mass, less inertia.

Was he apologetic, or explain his actions at all? Sorry to hear about the wreck, dude.

Except an Apache helicopter. An Apache helicopter has machine guns AND missiles. It is an unbelievably impressive complement of weaponry, an absolute death machine.

apologized once to me. asked if i was ok. i said yes now go the f*ck away. after my buddy left he came up to me and said blah blah blah it was your friends fault blah blah blah. i thought my dad was gonna kill him. the cops were immediately like that doesn't matter, shut up, here's your report # now go. nobody was particularly happy with this jack off.
